Zon del Barrio brings their hip-shaking, funk-based salsa, plena, and boogaloo from the corners of El Barrio to Damrosch Park. Using creative arrangements of some of the most popular songs of the genres, they update Nuyorican traditions with a real love of the cultures that created them. Aurora has enlisted two bona-fide legends:  piano titan Larry Harlow, “el Judio Maravilloso,” and Orqesta Broadway’s master flutist Eddy Zervigon.
